Shane Shepard:

I have been preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since November of 1990. My wife Vicki and I, of 22 years, served faithfully at Cornerstone Church of Longview from 1990 - 1997. During that time, I was under the mentorship of Pastor Mike Dease and Pastor Tom McDaniel. During the years at Cornerstone Church, I graduated Cornerstone's Leadership Training School. I then furthered my education and graduated Jacksonville Theological Seminary with a BA in Biblical Studies. In 1997, I founded Longview Christian Center where I was the Senior Pastor from 1997 - 2000. In the latter part of 2000 I resigned Longview Christian Center after the unexpected death of my brother and Associate Pastor, Rex Shepard. I then moved to Alabama and became the Associate Pastor at Gospel To The Nations in Dothan Alabama under Pastor Mike Dease from 2001 - 2003.

From 2005 - 2008, I taught in a church in Fairfax Virginia. It was there that I saw God's people hungry to be taught. I saw God transform many lives in the 2 1/2 years I was in that church teaching Sunday School and many are in the ministry today as a result of the Word of God going forth.  

I have always had a burden for the body of Christ to come into pattern according to the Word of God so that the church can effectively reach the lost and help our communities. In 2009, I received the call from God to birth Destiny School of Ministry in Longview Texas. In this ministry center, we will help everyone discover their God given destiny and truly begin to equip the men and women of God to fulfill their destiny.
